Who is Dr. Busch?

Dr. Busch taught fourth, and then twelfth grade students in the public schools before teaching at the university level for thirteen years after he got his Ph.D. in Psychology from East Texas A & M University.  He gets outstanding reviews from all his clients.

Dr. Busch had an office in natural healing, weight loss, reflexology, applied kinesiology, herbal medicine, and stress management, encouraging healthy lifestyle changes, in 1977, when in graduate school in psychology.  Since then he has been providing psychotherapy for children and adolescents, for five decades, over 4,000 young people.

Now he is serving adolescents and adults, near Franklin, N.C.  He primarily uses Internal Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy, in a general person-centered, relationship-oriented approach.  He is also an avid organic gardener, fisherman, and nature lover.  His clients can choose to have part of the session in nature if they want.

Sessions are two hours long, affording an opportunity for an unhurried, relaxed, natural pace.  For Dr. Busch, the goal of therapy is to help the client learn to be their own therapist, paying attention to the subtle lessons life itself affords.
